Summary

Muelleria (ISBN 0077-1813 )is the research journal published by National Herbarium of Victoria. It was initially issued with financial assistance from Maud Gibson Trust to provide the staff of the Herbarium with means of publishing their research at time when there were few such opportunities relating to taxonomic material within Australia. Early issues carried subtitles which were later dropped. The frequency has been variable, although recent issues have been twice per year. Editors have included: James H. Willis, Rex B. Filson, Helen I. Aston, Donald B. Foreman and Teresa Lebel. Muelleria was named after Ferdinand von Mueller, the first Government Botanist of Victoria from 1953 to 1896.
