Summary

Established in January 1939, Australian Consolidated Industries (ACI) was a holding company, consisting of subsidiary companies that manufactured items such as bottles, glassware, sheet glass, engineering products and plastics. The company was formed by changing the name of the Australian Glass Manufacturers Co. Ltd. to better reflect the changed diversity of its manufacturing. Its subsidiary companies were then created through reconstitution and restructuring, including the registrations of Australian Glass Manufacturers Co. Pty. Ltd. and ACI Plastics Pty Ltd.

- ACI Engineering Pty. Ltd.;
- ACI Fibre Packages Pty. Ltd.;
- ACI Investments Pty. Ltd.;
