Summary

The CSIRO Chemical Research Laboratories effectively replaced the CSIR/O Division of Industrial Chemistry in 1958. The laboratories initially consisted of four Divisions: Chemical Physics; Physical Chemistry; and Mineral Chemistry, and two Sections: Cement and Refactories; and Chemical Engineering. In August 1970 the Laboratories were disbanded.
