Summary

Located in Melbourne's suburb of Clayton, the CSIRO Division of Chemical Engineering had operated since 1941 as the CSIR/O Chemical Engineering Section, part of the CSIR/O Division of Industrial Chemistry. It became a separate Division twenty years later and operated for about sixteen years before becoming the CSIRO Division of Mineral Engineering.
