Summary

The research work of CSIR was organised in Divisions, Sections and Units depending on the size and/or standing of the group. Laboratories and Research Stations were also created to focus the use of resources in particular fields. Organisational units that transitioned from CSIR to CSIRO are designated as CSIR/O.
