Summary

Chennupati Jagadish is a physicist internationally recognised for his pioneering research into compound semiconductor nanowire and quantum dot optoelectronics. He established a world-class research program in nanotechnology and semiconductor optoelectronics at the Australian National University. Jagadish has received many awards for his research, and held executive positions in professional organisations, particularly the Australian Academy of Science and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
