Summary

In 1985 the Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) was established replacing the Forests Department (1919 - 1985). CLAM served as the home department for the National Parks and Nature Conservation Authority (1985 - 2000) and government activities relating to the management, conservation and research of Western Australian forests, fauna and flora. In 2006 it was replaced by the Department of Environment and Conservation (2006 - 2013).
