Summary

Ronald Grose worked for the Forests Commission, Victoria, where he became a Commissioner in 1978. His work included an examination of germination and seed dormancy in Eucalyptus delegatensis and aerial seeding for large areas where seed tree regeneration after clear-felling would have been inadequate. He was the second holder of the Australian Paper Manufacturers Research Fellowship in Forestry. From 1971-1973 he was president of the Institute of Foresters of Australia.
