Summary
Peter Barclay, BSc, worked for the Bureau of Meteorology for thirty years, joining as a physicist in 1963. He was responsible for implementing the Bureau's AROS (Automated Regional Operations System) project, which resulted in Australia having one of the most modern and efficient meteorological message handling, plotting and forecast/warning dissemination systems in the world. He retired in 1994.
