Summary

Edgar Mercer has had a long and extremely varied career. He has worked in the disciplines of physics, chemistry, biology and electron microscopy and in industries as diverse as textiles, animal health, and human dermatology. Throughout his career, Mercer worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and in the United States of America. One of his last positions was Professor of Biology at the University of Hawaii.
