Born 30 July 1902. Died Melbourne, 4 July 1970. Educated Universities of Tasmania (BSc 1927) and Melbourne (MSc 1928). Lecturer in physics, University of Melbourne 1928-39; physicist, Commonwealth X-Ray and Radium Laboratory, Melbourne 1940-41; Hospitals Commission, New South Wales 1941-42; lecturer in physics, Swinburne Technical College, Melbourne 1948-67.
