Summary

Ted Hannan was Professor of Statistics in the Institute of Advanced Studies, Australian National University from 1971-1986. Prior to this he was a Fellow in Statistics 1954-1958 and Professor of Statistics in the School of General Studies 1959-1971 at the same university.

He is commemorated by the Hannan Medal, awarded by the Australian Academy of Science.
