Summary

The Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists was established in 1970. The Society promotes the science of geophysics, encourages co-operation between geophysicists as well as will other earth scientists and assists in the design and teaching of courses in geophysics In 2002 the Society has over 1400 members.
