Summary

Historical Records of Australian Science (ISBN 0727-3061, e1448-5508) first appeared in 1980, having formerly been published under the name Records of the Australian Academy of Science. The first issue with this new title was volume 5, number 1, in November 1980. The journal includes biographical memoirs of deceased Fellows of the Australian Academy of Science and an annual history of Australian science bibliography. Originally published by the Australian Academy of Science, since volume 14, 2002, Historical Records of Australian Science has been published by CSIRO Publishing, on behalf of the Australian Academy of Science.
