Summary
Kelvin Hodges was a biochemist appointed to the Nutrition Unit of the American-Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land in 1948. Representing the Australian Institute of Anatomy, Canberra, his colleagues in the Unit were Brian Billington and Margaret McArthur.. The aim of the Unit was to assess the nutritional status, from clinical and biochemical points of view, of Aborigines living in the settlements visited by the Expedition. Reports from the work if the Unit were published in volume 2 of the Records of the American-Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land (1960).
