Summary
The David Vaux Research Integrity Fellowship Award was established in 2023 by the Australian Academy of Science. Funded by the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI) until 2033, it is awarded in alternate years to a person normally resident in Australia who will deliver workshops and/or lectures in Australia. It recognises individuals who have led efforts in their or other institution(s) to foster and promote integrity in science. The initial recipient was David Vaux, Assistant Director of WEHI from 2011 to 2021, who has championed scientific research integrity in Australia.
