Summary
The Eric Susman Prize has been presented annually by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 1962. It recognises the best contribution to knowledge in any branch of internal medicine (adult medicine and paediatrics). Recipients, who must be a Fellow of the College, will have demonstrated an outstanding and lasting impact in the field of internal medicine in the areas of research, teaching and/or clinical medicine. They receive a monetary prize and are invited to present their research at a College event. The Prize was created following a bequest from Susman, a foundation Fellow of the College.
