Summary

John Thornton, BSc BE MIEAust, was the Deputy Chief Engineer, Power Supply, Electricity Commission of New South Wales. In 1950 he was appointed a member of the Menzies Federal Government manpower allocation committee. For many years he was a member of the New South Wales Local Government Electrical Engineering Examination Committee.
