Summary

In 2017 the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (II) was created out of the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (III) (2012 - 2017) and the Department of Energy and Water Supply (2012-2017). A organisational chart of on the Departmental website shows seven distinct arms or divisions within the department. These include Natural Resources, Policy, Minerals and Energy Resources, Resources Safety and Health, Energy, Water Markets and Supply, and Business and Corporate Partnership.
