John Radcliffe has made significant contributions to agricultural, environment and water science in Australia. Serving and chairing on numerous government boards and committees Radcliffe has also made significant contributions to water policy in Australia. Some of the roles held by John Radcliffe include Deputy Chief Executive of CSIRO, South Australian Director-General of Agriculture and Commissioner of the National Water Commission. John Radcliffe also played a pivotal role in establishing the Murray Darling Basin Commission between 1985 and 1992.
