Summary

In 2007, Ensis, the joint venture between CSIRO Forestry and Forest Products and Forest Research NZ was renamed the Division of Forestry Biosciences. It existed for one year and on 1 July 2008, CSIRO Forest Biosciences ceased functioning as a separate division of CSIRO. Its staff and research, including the Australian Tree Seed Centre, was incorporated into CSIRO Plant Industry.
