Summary

Alan Gray has pursued his interest in plant taxonomy, ecology and the propagation and cultivation of Australian native plants. Preeminent in his taxonomic and field knowledge of Tasmanian eucalypts as well as the eucalypts of the eastern and southern mainland, he has published a number of papers since the early 1970s. He has been a contributor for Flora of Tasmania Online at the Tasmanian Herbarium.
