Summary

Hardy Energy Products was established in the late 1980s, after the James Hardie Industries Group acquired the remaining 50% of S. W. Hart & Co. Ltd., having already obtained 50% in 1984. The company continued to produce Solahart hot water systems. In 1994 Malaysian Johan Holdings acquired the business and changed its name to Solahart Industries Pty Ltd.
