Mauri Foods was a producer of yeasts for the food industry. It adopted overseas technology to the preparation and supply of frozen starters in vat size units for the cheese industry. A food industry company called Pilmico-Mauri Foods Corporation exists today. It is not clear if this company and Mauri Foods are related.
