Summary

Koppers Australia Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of USA's Koppers Industries, Inc. Koppers was established in February 1967, initially for the purpose of building and operating a coal tar distillation plant. It is now a major manufacturer and exporter of coal tar by-products, carbon black, wood preservatives and treated timber.
