Summary

The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation's Division of Animal Production was established in 1975. The Division undertook research and development in the areas of animal production and biotechnology. In July 2000, the Divisions of Animal Production and Animal Health came together to form the Division of Livestock Industries.
