Abstract

The area in which electricity is supplied by the Municipal Council of Sydney is described, and the various conditions affecting the transmission of electricity reviewed. The considerations governing such matters as voltage regulation, type and loading of cables and spacing of substations are discussed, and the system of feeders and substations adopted, described.
