Summary

The J. A. Prescott Medal has been presented annually by the Australian Society for Soil Science. It recognises outstanding contributions to soil science and climatology, and is open to members of the Society and other soil scientists. James A. Prescott, one of Australia's foremost soil scientists, was Director of the Waite Agricultural Research Institute from 1938 to 1955.
