The Bruce Webb Medal has been awarded since 2005 by the South Australian Branch of the Geological Society of Australia. Presented annually, it recognises a person distinguished for leadership and/or contributions to advancing knowledge of the earth sciences in South Australia. Bruce Webb was one of Australian's most highly respected mining geologists who played a major role in opening up South Australia's mineral resources, particularly the Olympic Dam ore body and the Copper Basin oil and gas field.
