Summary
The Caulfield Institute of Technology (CIT) started in 1922 as the Caulfield Technical School (later College), offering high school studies. In 1968 it became the tertiary institution, CIT. Further changes came in 1982 when it merged with the Frankston campus of the State college of Victoria to become the Chisholm Institute of Technology. Since 1990 it has been the Caulfield Campus of Monash University.
