- Abstract
Considerable information is available on the characteristics and performance of solar collectors, storage systems, heat exchangers, coolers, etc. To study a solar process adequately, which may include a number of these components, the interrelationships among their characteristics must be examined. The analog computer offers a convenient and useful means of studying multicomponent processes and their operation with stochastic boundary conditions. In this paper, three examples of increasing complexity and approach to realistic solar-heating systems are used to illustrate this approach to solar-process analysis.
