Abstract

The Executive Committee of the Council, at the meeting held on 25th September, 1945, received the reports of the respective adjudicators and decided that the following awards of the Electrical Association Premium be made:
- 1942 Award to Mr. C. E. Moorhouse, BMechE MEB AMIEAust, for his paper entitled "Power and reactive power in feeder calculations", presented before the Melbourne Division of The Institution.
- 1943 Award to Messrs. R. F. Kinnane, BE AMIEAust, and B. K. Holden, BE AMIEAust, as joint authors of the paper entitled "Differential protective circuits - Theory and application", presented before a General Meeting of the Electrical and Communication Engineering Branch of the Sydney Division, on 28th July, 1943.
