Prizes of the Institution. Recent Awards.
Notification is given of recent decisions of the Council respecting the award of Prizes of The Institution.
R. W. Chapman Medal. 1941 Award. - Professor R. C. Robin, ME Associate Member, for the paper "Bond strength of reinforcing bars embedded horizontally in concrete", read before the Adelaide Division of The Institution, 19/9/1941 (published in The Journal, Vol.14, No.9, September, 1942). It was recorded that Mr. P. E. Olsen (Student) and Mr. R. F. Kinnane (non-member) were joint authors of the paper.
