Description

Chairman's Address by Joseph Arthur Ellis, MIEAust, to the Perth Division of the Institution, on 23rd March, 1931.

Abstract

This presentation deals with railways and other agencies of transport. The subject has been most ably dealt with as regards both past and present, by my immediate predecessors, so that my attempt will be to endeavour to delve into the future, at the same time being not unmindful that the role of prophet more often than not carries with it the possibility of embarrassing consequences.
