Abstract

The delivery was given by the Immediate Past President of The Institution of Engineers, Australia at the Annual General Meeting held in Perth on April 5 1979. The paper concentrated on personal observations, a report on the activities and achievements of 1978 followed by a critical assessment of the need for re-examining registration as a result of provisions affecting engineers in the Trade Practices Act.
