Presented as a paper entitled "Naracoorte Water Supply" by R. G. Wilton AMIEAust at the 161st general meeting of the Adelaide Division, Institution of Engineers, Australia, on 22 November 1940.

The paper describes the sinking of two bores to tap the River Murray artesian basin, the construction of a series of ring and branch mains and the erection of a water tower with a capacity of 250,000 gallons.
