- Abstract
The device of conformal representation is used to obtain graphically the complex impedance or admittance of a simple parallel-tuned circuit having resistance in the inductive arm. It is assumed that the coil magnification is independent of frequency and that the condenser resistance is negligible. Two methods are suggested. The first of these is applicable when a rigorous solution of the impedance equation is required, while the second gives a very close approximation in many cases met with in wireless design.
