- Abstract
The Adelaide Electric Supply Company Limited (South Australia), starting in 1898 with a capital of £30,000, and a small power station at Port Adelaide, has grown to one with a capital of £2,500,000, and a power station designed for an ultimate capacity of 60,000 kilowatts. Its distributing network has been laid in 650 miles of streets, and it is serving 52,000 consumers in the metropolitan area of Adelaide.
