- Abstract
The objects of the address are to depict conditions and to make enquiries and suggestions in three parts. 1. The Industrial World: The ground-work for sketches. Science, Writing, Invention, Professions, Surveying, Medicine, Architecture, Law, Engineering, Dentistry, Soldier, Church, Public Life, Profit, Accountant, Art, Poetry, Woman, University. 2. The Utilitarian: Societies and Academies to be developed and utilised. Prizes and Awards, Nobel, etc; 3. Better Aims: Interdependence and Service.
