Description

1990 A G M Michell Address - College of Mechanical Engineers, Institution of Engineers Australia.

Abstract

Over the last 18 years, I, together with colleagues at the University of WA and then at ACET, have been involved in the introduction of engineering science into the study of train behaviour and driver training. We have developed a number of products, but the Train Driving Simulator, the Locologger and related products are probably of most importance to the railway industry.
