Summary

William Byram was a Brisbane born Lawyer with an interest in freshwater algae. He was a member and president of the Royal Society of Queensland and assisted the Queensland Government Botanist Frederick Bailey in translating and publishing bulletins on freshwater algae for the Queensland department of Agriculture and Stock.
