Summary

The National Zoo and Aquarium (NZA) began life in 1990 as the National Aquarium before expanding to outdoor enclosures to house Terrestrial Animals. The NZA an accredited Zoo and a member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association of Australia, and aims according to its 2018 website "Inspire and assist in the conservation of the natural world through innovative and exciting educational experiences".
