Summary
Hamilton Stuart Dove was a prolific contributor of articles to Emu and The Advocate (Devonport) newspaper. He arrived in Australia (Tasmania) from England in around 1890 and initially helped run a farm with his brother. Dove soon moved to Devonport where his love of natural history flourished. He had a special interest in migratory birds.
