Summary
Peter Hall is Professor of Statistics at the Centre for Mathematics and its Applications at the Mathematical Sciences Institute, Australian National University in Canberra. His main area of research is in theoretical and applied statistics and probability theory. Hall has authored well over 300 journal articles, has received many awards for his efforts, is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA) and the Royal Society (FRS), and has served on many editorial boards for top statistical journals.
