Summary
Bill Irwin worked with a group of architects to design the swimming stadium for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Other buildings that Irwin provided structural engineering solutions for included the Australian Academy of Science dome in Canberra, BHP House in Melbourne, and university buildings at the University of Melbourne, Monash University, La Trobe University and the Australian National University.
