Sharon McKinley is Professor of Critical Care Nursing in the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at the University of Technology, Sydney. Her research areas include recovery after critical illness, the effect of psychological distress on recovery, response to symptoms of acute cardiovascular illness, cardiovascular nursing, and intensive care nursing.
