Summary
Achalen Woolliscroft Palfreyman joined Gorge Peacock's (qv) jam factory about 1889. In 1891 he formed a partnership with (Sir) Henry Jones and Peacock's son Ernest (qqv) to take over the factory. He later became chairman of Henry Jones Co-operative Ltd 1926-65.
