Summary
Ian McDougall has worked at the Australian National University's Research School of Earth Sciences since 1968. His research has focused on many areas including finding ways to delineate the history of the geomagnetic fields and to create a time scale for the evolution of volcanic chains in relation to their origin and to plate motions.
