Summary
William Knox Child formed the Australian Sugar Company with Francis Kemble in 1841. This was reconstituted as the Australasian Sugar Company in 1842. He sold his interest to Edward Knox in 1843 and took up farming on the Mount Vincent estate near Kurri Kurri.
