Born England, ca 1883. Died Perth, 28 March 1960. Educated Perth Technical College (chemistry and geology). Clerical position, London, arrived Western Australia 1905, electroplater, chemist, founder and director, Plaimar Limited 1918, Managing Director, Plaimar Ltd, Industrial Extracts Ltd and Hemphill Gray Oil Mills Ltd, and Chairman of Directors, Clackline Refractories Ltd.
